    Quick question(s)...

In the following image what is "1" and what does it do?

I understand "2" is the starter jet, but what I want to know is if it should be replaced (can it be?) at some stage?

Murdo (& @risky). I have sealed holes with Sikaflex, but the goo is still soft after 24 hours. Did I use the wrong one? I don't want to reassemble carbs until I'm sure I won't damage anything. Thanks Frank

What is the use by date on the package? It should set within 12 hours.

Use by Dec 2016. Yesterday was cold here (19 day & 8 night), so might have been the problem. Seems to have hardened up a bit today (21 degree Melbourne heat wave!). I will reassemble carbs tomorrow. Thanks Murdo. Cheers Frank
