Can't wait, it will fix the frame i have thats missing the neck. Its the only way to get a 4 cylinder in and out of any frame unless its an across and the frame unbolts. I did the same thing on my GT550, was so simple to get it in that way and i didn't have to lift 80+kg of engine.
ZXR and CBR have no frame under the engine, fzr has a removable subframe or something from memory. Alloy spar frames make it easier
Sold my bandit 1200 today , will give me the funds to finish my gt380 and get my next project painted up , More on that shortly

Bought 18 bikes and 5 scooters in a job lot , anyone in Brisbane free Saturday morning to help me move it all
please don't complain it's too hot, it's 6°c in the day and -4°c at night over here, and winter hasn't begun yet
Finished rebuilding 1 engine and started on another. Left is the 1972 US90 engine and on the right a 1976 Z50j1 Monkey
What have i done to my bike today? Not enough. Most of my time spent working on my bike means waiting for parts or waiting for money. The other 1% is working on my bikes.
It's pretty much over 30 all day, if not all night, too. And summer is only just starting. Our place got a shower of rain (sparse, you had to be in just the right spot), enough for puddles and even a little run of water! It'll probably be dried up by 7am.
I feel like about my job (motorcycle mechanic shop): today was particularly unproductive with the boss away and between the phone and the door, I changed a tyre and brake switch. I might go to work tomorrow just to get something done with doors closed and phone ignored! Might take my bike to work on, too...
Hey guys is there supposed to be oil in the stator side cover of the zxr 250 ? Sent from my Redmi 5 Plus using Tapatalk
I put a chain and sprockets on the VTR, tried to free the front master cylinder but joining a working one to it, but I only managed to break the brake lever. Going to have to grease gun it. Once the brakes are sorted, it'll go for sale. I reassembled the TTR and listed it for sale - even went for a test ride to check on the cattle. I'm having a bit of a sell up: I can't keep doing project bikes, they've got to go!
