I think I must have sucked some air in when I bleed thru new fluid before ..... I had the caliper hanging up on the back footpeg for a couple of weeks while I did other stuff on the rear .
Ive tried with the caliper up high , down low , back bleed blah blah blah.
I know it works as I rode it home with just rear brake.
The fronts I had new fluid thru and nice hard lever in 5 minutes
    :idk:

By the sound of it you got the rear brake sorted. Pleased to hear she is running well. Did some research on the Hyosung and found that they were a pretty quick thing, quoted top speed of 175kph. That is probably with a skinny Korean rider on board, still those figures aren't bad. Good luck mate with getting it rego'd :thumb_ups:

the hyo 650 sounds amazing with a nice can on it, shame about the build quality though.

    basically a poor mans sv650.

also hyosung have been making suzuki parts for years, not sure why the quality is so bad compared to suzuki though.

just think....250 and 650 have same frame. buy a stat write off 650 and bolt in to the 250.

Several years ago I bought a Suzuki sv650 motorcycle. It was a 1999 model which had carbs, great bike. :thumb_ups:
As one does, I joined a forum for the sv650 and found an Englishman on the site who tested his bike with parts from Hyosung.
The amazing thing was that most mechanical parts were in fact interchangeable with the Suzuki and at a fraction of the price.
I never tested his findings as the bike gave me a dream run, had nil mechanical problems. Discovered through the forum about the
Suzuki engineers design team association with Hyosung.
A friend bought a 650 Hyosung second hand and for nearly 2 years had a dream run with it, think the Hyosung is a winner :D

i have heard mixed things about hyosung, mostly from the earlier models though, i was thinking off getting one but couldnt get rid off the 250.

i have heard on another forum the 650 engine was designed by disgruntled ex suzuki workers aswell.

Hyo is now a registered motorcycle ..... took 2 trips to the RTA of course as the bluey hadn't been signed ......pedantic bastards
And the classic was .... 'wheres the brake test printout? ' ..... ummm der its a motorcycle , they don't require one .... as pointed out to her by her senior when she overheard

I can attest to the building having a strong door .... I kicked it with my riding boot as I left first time round in disgust cursing and swearing.

...... and getting charged $42 for a new standard shitty numberplate is the ultimate insult

    dumb arses
