there is your problem right there... mate you spend the time fixing it.. the gear changes will be smoother and the clutch can be adjusted.. Hildagarde's clutch I only need to move it 20mm and its engaged.. I am 187cm.. so there should be no part pushing against your knees.... and if the forks are cactus do what i plan to do... get a set of ZXR250 upside down forks, brakes and front wheel and do a front end conversion...
White out or correction fluid works also ..... I just slap it on then wipe of the excess or scrape it off when its dry and of course it leaves it in the channels where u want it.
Wednesday night is my bike night. Every Wednesday from 7:30 to 10:00pm I get time in the shed. Most times Phill turns up and often Shan but there are many others who may too. Sometimes so many turn up we don't get any work done and just talk bikes. Tonight it was Phill and also Duncan turned up with a cylinder from his RD250LC. We loaded Phills TS250X frame into his ute so it can be taken for welding the cracked frame. A few RDLC cranks were checked to see which way the crank seals fit (the Yamaha manual picture is wrong). The TDR and TZR front wheels were swapped back onto their correct bikes after they were swapped over at the last race meeting. The Vinduro bikes went up on the benches to be prepared for the Beaufont Vinduro in Victoria in a few weeks. The IT175F forks came apart so we can fit new seals as they had been leaking. Then we ran out of time and so packed up and they went home. Next week we will reassemble the 175 front end and do the brakes and air cleaners.

So quick question. Sometimes not often when i slot down into first gear (clutch in fully) the bike turns off :/ any idea what could be causeing it? Over a just under hr ride tonight it did it it twice.
Did some electrical work. Definitely not a favourite of mine. Made a new reg/rectifier mounting bracket for the yamagamma as well as wired in a new fusebox. Will need to make a mounting bracket for the new fusebox once I figure out a best location for it.
