Hey Guys, I voted, but was waiting for confirmation of the event to book , but looks like the accommodation options have now dried up, can we still make it or do we want to try and reschedule later in the year?

If so, I propose the weekend of November 11\12, it doesn't clash with Bathurst, AFL or the NRL grand finals, should be nice weather for a ride.

I'm good with November. I had Mick lined up for Sep 16/17 so we will probably go for a day ride somewhere if any QLD guys are still keen for a ride.

    So then, November 11/12th. Where?

In the meantime the NSW crew are having a weekend at Urunga (30Km South of Coffs Harbour) at the Ocean View Hotel on the 16/17 September. Will be leaving Tamworth at 9.00 am on Saturday, riding down the Oxley highway turning left at Wauchope to Telegraph Point, through Kempsey to Urunga for a cold beverage. Sunday will see us return through Dorrigo, Ebor, Armidale to Tamworth. Any body interested you can book rooms at the Ocean View by ringing (02)66556221. Single room $50, double $90.
    Might see you there.

Sure you guys don't wanna come down to Bonnie Doon and join our get together next month? Still a couple of spots left!

We hired out a lakehouse. Too bad Victoria is so far from you guys, it's all happening down here! :D

That disappointing for you, Risky. How I've got away without series failures like that is amazing. Praise be to God, because we all know it isn't my workmanship!...

After such a good start we ran into trouble with Dennis's CB350 that he has owned since new. First the choke vibrated on, causing him to only just make the servo in Bingara (150Km) and running badly. I held it open with zippy tie, and onward we went (but not far). After checking spark was ok, the left cylinder was still not firing. Carb apart and slide was sticking up, fixed that and still no fire, so looked at valve clearance and could not get any clearance on inlet valve (exhaust fine) with adjuster wound right back. Engine still spitting unburnt fuel from left pipe, so Dennis and Risky turned for home. I continued to Emmaville and had great night at pub. Room clean and tidy, friendly locals, good food, and cooked breaky for $50. Can recommend we go there again at a future date.
