cheers to everyone for your responses and input! its really been helpful.

i was thinking and talking to herself and she thinks i should hold off for another while and think about it further.

i have to focus my time and energy getting the Ninja back together and ready for the Club round....once i have that done i think its time to make a decision on what the future holds for the little Fizzer.

just wondering....what do people believe are fair prices? i know the prices on fleebay are normally higher than most would like to pay so im just trying to get an idea if i was to strip it what i should look for what. ie carbs, wheel set, spare discs, brake set up - braided lines, bars, R6 shock set up ect ect ect

It depends on availability. For my bandit I'm working off what I see advertised on ebay, gumtree etc and finding a happy medium. If I'm still not sure I ring a wrecker and ask for a part then generally price at 50-75% of that.

Never are for a Grey Import. Rarity & age >$>$>$>$>$>$>$>$ and more $, they have to make a profit and will be opportunistic about it.

This is where the supply and demand trend is bucked. Less demand higher prices.

asking and getting are 2 different things.a lot of wreckers ask but other wreckers sell.

I think that engine from the bike with 6931km is a bargain.
Even if it costs $200 for shipping it would still be good. At least worth sending an email.

thanks mate, but after great deliberation and several drinks i have decided to wreck the FZR. i may in the future look to go down the line of racing something that is a lot more access friendly regarding parts, but now my time effort and money will be spent on the lil ninja.

thanks to everyone for all your time and effort with the help and advise given, i do really appreachate but i think the logical decision for me has been made.

For sale thread coming soon - but in the meantime please feel free to pm me eoi on any parts you may be after.

    thanks again,
    Paddy
