Almost as good as the zxr Lever flying off and getting caught in my fairings at 80km/h... That was the luckiest save

Ordered a bunch of stuff from Tyga for the NSR250. And ordered a TrailTech speedo for it as well to replace the stock speedo (bike was nearly totaled, speedo cluster is a bit banged up). Also gonna try and mock up a bracket so I can put the battery box at the front of the bike (not the rear) which I than can make another bracket off for the speedo and I've got a new wiring harness, PGM and an SP shock in Rinkya lined up. I want to shorten the wiring and simplify it a bunch. I purchased a CRM250 swingarm through Rinkya; $150 roughly, all up. Fairly cheap considering I monitored eBay for a year and never saw one. Hopefully the shipping on the NSR stuff isn't killer. But the prices for those items are so low I will get some good deals.

I was annoyed because my MC21 came with a broken ignition cover. It had pop rivets and 3 strips of metal holding the two halves together. I tried to plastic weld it together but it was difficult to line everything up due to the weird break. Then I realised I have a MC18 cover and all I had to do was cut the end off to make it fit! Got the dremel out and done! Saved myself $100.

Not a 250, but while I wait for MC21 parts I'm finishing my CR125. Apparently the 2003 KX125 Expansion Chamber is the best exhaust for it (03 model as well) so time to make up some brackets and install it! Fit's pretty well with plenty of clearance. 1/3 of the price of a new aftermarket pipe. Kawasaki power!!... on my Honda. Only tricky thing now is the flange, but I have a 1998 CR125 flange that should fit pretty well.

Had my first go at fibre glossing today and pretty happy with it apart from the patchy paint now but not hard at all just heaps of prep
Used diggers kit from Bunnings and bought some better quality woven glass for 2nd layer and front of fairings
