Not desparate to do them, just clean up what you can. The plates sliding on the outer basket should allow them to separate ok.
Last time I did the inner splines it was done in a verticle mill, which I don't have access to anymore.

friend, grips come in 2 sizes and are a matched pair.[1 of each size]. reason being that the right hand side has a throttle tube that turns freely on the handlebar.

Put in a new filter ready for the Delo after the clutch is done .....

    Drop the headers

If you have drained the oil from the sump plug while the bike is on the stand , expect a bit of a deluge when the plate drops

Nice new sparkling 'MotoFilter' from Andys Bike Bits ..... woohoo!

    filter 4.jpg

Bit of oil smeared on the rubber bits and in she goes ....

I was going to pull the oil level sendor as the oil light is always staying on , and give it a clean out.
But hopefully the new Delo will self clean it or just work as it should with the better oil in it .... if not a job for next oil/filter change
The one on the bench is from the spare motor .... I dropped it into kero and tons of old oil came out.
Might pull it to bits and see if theres grunge inside
