Well, i came into the little bit of cash i need to get back on the bike, so rear brake pads and levers are ordered. So once they arrive big red will be roadworthy again. In cleaning and re-oiling the airfilter i stuffed it... I used a dirtbike air filter oil (didnt realise it at the time stupid motul and their hard to see english) and it completely clogged the air filter :(, Calling Kawasaki tomorrow to order a new one :).

All parts are installed. Just to bleed all the brakes then she's ready. Took it for a strap to the servo and back. Great Scott I didn't realise how much I missed it!

Well the zx7r feels fantastic really happy with how shimming the needles turned out to match the exhaust. PS MY GOD I LOVE THE NOISE IT MAKES NOW ALSO POWER WHEELIES ARE FUN :p ( Only a tiny lift at the top of first)

Tomorrow i have to take the lower fairings off as for some reason the tab that holds the two together has broken whilst it was chilling in my shed :idk:. Hopefully I can find My Cold Weld

Also I want to investigate how the cooling hoses are running as one pipe on the rad is blocked off and i cant tell what else is missing or blanked. ( I thought it was meant to be that way but Brian from motorcycle roadworthys pointed out its not) I might possibly need some help via googling wizards tomorrow @GreyImport

My mate has one the same as yours & he has an outlet tube blocked off too, it's about 3/4 the way down on the side of the rad & it's capped off with a rubber cap & hose clamp, it's about a 10 - 12mm tube, his gets hot from time to time & often wondered if it was something to do with the oil cooler but I think they run a bigger hose. Maybe it's from factory. Partzilla shows the tube coming off the radiator but can't see anything connected to it, http://www.partzilla.com/parts/sear...2000/ZX750-P5+Ninja+ZX-7R/RADIATOR/parts.html

Thanks @GreyImport I have been thru that and can't definitively work it out.

Cheers mate, while I have the fairings off I will take a closer look. As far as I can tell from the manual the outlet is supposed to have a hose that runs to the oil cooler.

Both hoses on the oil cooler run elsewhere.

Good to know your friends is the same. Might be for aus delivered ones since its hotter here?....
