DON'T USE A CREDIT CARD FOR BIKES!!! I can give 40,000 reasons why not, if you catch my drift. It's like the Devil giving you a bucket of petrol and a lighter - you know there's fun to be had, but it is more likely to blow up in face.

:headbang:Me dealing with credit cards and motorbikes.

I agree credit cards are evil things and mine is only for $2000. If you need to buy stuff then get a personal loan instead. Lower interest and it won't all disappear in an instant if you find a shiny toy for your bike.

Into the service bay for a long overdue wash and wheel cleaning... polished rims look the business. The front has alloy corrosion on it so will need to be wire wheeled off and re-polished.

Been riding mine around without the fairing's since i tuned it last, (still not 100%) i've had a couple of other rider's take a second look trying to work out what bike it was.
There's so many other L plater's round here atm, i might go up and watch the Rider Safe advanced course one day to see what's involved and book in for my P's.
@Linkin , So with the GSXR600 not being a Lams approved, does that mean that the 2008-2012 GSX650F (Lams approved) has less power ?
And are you on P's still ?

So I thought the CRF50 had a flat front tyre but I removed the tube and it seemed fine. But there is rust around the valve stem so I just put some gasket maker on it. Hopefully it's a quick fix (I plan on throwing motard / scooter tyres when the dirt ones wear out). But the inside of the rim was rusty in place so I wire wheeled it and threw some primer on it to prevent that again. There was also debris that luckily didn't shred the tube sooner. Hopefully will have another NSR to the collection soon too!

I think the 650 gsx's are twins arent they? In any case restricted via throttle stop, necking down the intake boots like on the mt-07 (from 41mm to 30mm) and lastly ecu/ignition timing.

They always look good after a wash... and a wheel cleaning. Oh and the rear tyre had about 10 PSI in it :prankster:

Caught the boat down to Tassie for a few days, I forgot how good the roads are down here! Even if the surface isn't amazing it's so much fun haha

I bought more stuff on Jauce.com lol
    So far it is
throttle cables (push / pull set)
3WP side fairing (under the tank at the front)
    3WP Instruments
3WP Rear-sets (anyone interested in a set of Kawasaki ZXR250R Rearsets)
    3PW Swing arm c/w link & dogbone
    Seat lock assy including keys..

I think that might do it for a little while, now I just need to wait for the parts to turn up at their warehouse so I can arrange get it sent to Sydney... hopefully not too long.

How is Jauce for shipping? I previous bought off Rinkya and they charged me an extra $50 USD (About $70 AUD at the time) for additional shipping, which made the shipping over $200! Do Jauce give good estimates on shipping? Thinking of buying some things off there. Maybe even get a few things and eBay them off here.

Not really the bike but just picked up my leather jacket after having the sleeves shortened by 15cms to suit my stumpy T-rex arms (nothing to do with the oversize belly!). I know you shouldn't really mess with a leather jacket but this old boy worked in a leather factory making jackets for 15 years so he knows his stuff. Pretty damn stoked about having a jacket that fits :)

I only started with them a few days ago so all of my gear is "in Local transit" to the Jauce warehouse. So I cant really tell you at present... I am pretty sure the swing arm will end up being around $120 for freight based on size and approx. weight. they all use EMS so the freight cost is what it is... I looked at ImportMonster but their fee structure is more based around larger or higher cost items but they say they only pass on "actual" costs so it works out similar... but I don't have any reason to believe or disbelieve any of it.. .
Hopefully I will know soon as I want to get all my bits and start ticking off the list... lol

I've used them before and found the combined international freight wasn't too bad if I bought a lot of small and/or lighter stuff and had it all sent at once. Stuff was repacked quite well as I recall.

The fees for adding funds to your account and local shipping were the kicker. Overall experience was positive though :)

Oh man! It felt good to get back on the bike.

I ended up taking a forced hiatus of about what, 3 weeks? When i bled the brakes, 2 pistons froze, and when i ordered parts I only ordered one side. Then i ordered a second side- but promptly left for London, where I bought a motorcycle and rode to Barcelona.

When I got home, the second brake parts had arrived (hey! it beat sitting by the mailbox waiting for postage lol) and so finally last night....

I drained the front brakes and removed one caliper to rebuild. :lolsign::lolsign::D:D:D:D:D

    So much work. lol

At least you will have fresh brakes. Do those rebuild kits come with the anti-rattle springs?
