    So I went and looked at this bike today... It's a C model with 180km/h speedo, so built in Japan. It started first go with full choke and only a little exhaust smoke, it hadn't been started in a while. I checked it over and everything looks OK apart from a fork seal leak. It even went into 1st gear OK but I didn't ride it - no rego on it and it's double demerits in NSW this long weekend.

    In any case I bought it. The ad is down now so here are the pics

    It's even got a nice SSB Powersports lithium battery I can pinch for my silver one when I get the new reg/rec in the mail :D

    Selling my 91 zxr250r bikes not running due to a dead coil quoted $80 from dahlitz motorcycles for a new one also needs a few minor things eg: front indercators an lh mirror. Bikes been sitting in the shed for last 12 months recently cleaned carbies an fuel tank thats when i discovered the dead coil asking $500ono or swaps for something of interest

    Yeah, I don't think he'll get what he's asking. 1k or less in current condition. But might be OK for someone who wants a cheap run-around and doesn't mind a few rough edges.

    But Evinrude, aprillia and others have ran efi 2-stroke engines for over a decade.
