I'm in Queensland, so any moment now the scorching heat will turn to monsoonal flooding...
And our winter is like 15-25°C for all but 2-3 weeks. Even then it doesn't go below 0. We think we'll freeze to death when temps are in single digits.

Tempting! It'll happen soon. I have a friend who just got relocated to Sydney, another friend on a work visa in Melbourne, and a bartender buddy of mine I've already informed is gonna let me airG&T on his couch when he moves to Aus for culinary school in February.

I ain't going anywhere near an airport around the holidays though as much as I want to be warm right now!

Oh trust me I'm asking death to be swift tonight. :) I ended up walking to dinner with friends, and even with a down jacket and layers the cold was pretty cutting.

It's not my bike, but this is my uncle's Virago 250 that i've been fixing, today i cleaned out the Front brake master, and caliper, fitted a new front disc and pad's, and fitted new brake shoe's to the rear.
The brake master wasn't returning properly and it'd make the caliper stay on, cooked the disc and pad's, found lot's of thick gunk in it and the return port inside next to the feed port was totally blocked

Fitted up the Coil Pack... with new leads (what a strange lead arrangement having to screw them into the post), fitted up the battery... turned on the old stink fuel and hit the button... just for the hell of it :)

And its ALIVE.... won't idle without the choke and won't rev but still ... it runs and sounds pretty good.. nice strong exhaust pulse.. no smoke but man does it pong... I think I need to drain that fuel and put some new stuff in... might actually make a difference :)

    I washed my Zeal!

@Andych is inspiring my to get my Across going, I suspect bad fuel, too, but it's missing an air filter, amongst other things.

And @kiffsta is still skiting about his bargain buy...

I won't get much (if anything) done from now till after Christmas... I have to make a dash to Tamworth on Thursday to sort out the VSD on an irrigation pump we supplied recently then drive back home Friday (seeing a couple of other customers) and try to finish detailing my Scirocco so the new owner can pick it up maybe Christmas Eve... :)

cleared out shed, started one NSR 250 track bike and a Suzuki A100 and almost had the BSA gold star started.. we started the A 100 buy sitting it on the center stand and spinning the back wheel lol.. The NSR 250 started with some help of "start ya bastard" and had it running for a few mins.. I will post a video and pics soon....
