10 riders left Tamworth on Friday a bit after 9am. Through the back roads to stop for coffee at the Kentucky store.
    Texas May 2018 001.jpg Texas May 2018 002.jpg
To the pub at Uralla for lunch after which three broke off to go directly to Glen Innes while the rest continued through Bundarra to Inverell to visit the transport museum, then across to Glen Innes for the night. Beer, chatter and good food and into a warm bed for the night.
Saturday saw us on the back road to Emmaville, coming back to the Highway at Deepwater for a rest break.
    Texas May 2018 005.jpg Texas May 2018 007.jpg
On to Tenterfield where we met up with the Queenslanders for lunch and on to Texas for the night. More beer, chatting and tall story telling before dinner and bed.
Sunday had most attending an 'all you can eat breakfast' (we tried out best) before refueling and picture in front of the 'Texas' sign.

After good byes, we went our separate ways home. We went through Ashford to Inverell for coffee and refuel before tackling the 'back' road to via Copeton dam to Bingara.

We stopped for one of Risky's favorite pies, but the shop was shut so he went hungry. We had a burger in Barraba and on to Tamworth. Total of 980Km for the weekend with no breakdowns. Excellent company, could have done it without you but would have not have been as much fun. Thanks all for enjoyable ride.

After we left the nsw crew this morning , we topped up the tanks and headed to Morgan park raceway in Warwick , we had no sooner parked up then a Marshall told us to register for the parade lap. We all made our gold coin donation and attended the safety briefing. Before long we were called onto the track, one lap turned into 4 and we were all having a red hot crack on the track, I managed to crack 160kms per hour down the straight. I didn’t want it to end , we watched a few more races then headed for home. No real issues on the way home with the exception of a few numb bums and stiff legs.

I wanted to thank the nsw lads for great weekend , also thanks to the qld crew who rode down with me @Phil, @Wayno , @ShaneP @Darren and Scotty , all our bikes made it with ease which was cool. Special thanks to @ShaneP who travelled from rocky to join us on the ride. While his bike was held together with some non standard fasteners , it didn’t give us any trouble.

The stockmans hotel is a great place to stay, will definitely stay there again in the future .

Now to try and stay up and watch MotoGP

What an awesome week-end.....good friends with bikes, perfect weather and the open road.
Did I forget to mention......no royal wedding.
Great to catch up with everyone and share a few laughs and tales.
The best part of our journey home was a pit stop at Morgan Park Raceway and 4 laps of the track,
    what a treat that was.......my 1st visit.
My odometer showed 810km's for the trip and great economy this time from my zzr600.
