hey Plugger loving the 250 theory for beer. From now on it shall be known as "The Plugger Theory". Its right up there with the theory of relativity.
Hi guys, Saw the plug at Gumtree while looking at bikes and thought I'd drop by. Ballarat based and riding an Across in the 250 class. Handy little bike with the boot 8) I've carried 4l paint tins, a large dish of lasagne, a few bottles of wine, a sherrin and boots, an entire chinese takeaway banquet amongst other things (not all at once, of course). My other bike needs luggage to shift that sort of load, so it gets relegated to the garage when there's goods to be shipped, which is most of the time, truth be told. Goes alright, too ;D
Hey Motown Welcome to the fourm, another Ballarat member cool, Brad Watts is from Ballarat as well and also has an Across  . Take it easy Chris
Hey Motown Welcome to the forum. Suzuki Across are great bikes, like you I love the boot and am somewhat surprised that this didn't take off with other manufacturers as most tend to like it. A photo of the beast wouldn't go astray, take it easy  Phil
Hi everyone, Based in Perth, been riding for a while and have a few bikes, doing a few mods on a 1980 CB250RS and hopefully it will be back on the road as good as new in a couple of months. ;D
Hi i'm new to this sort of thing but have loved bikes all my life since the sixties at least. Couldn't afford to buy then but have recently retired(2 years) bought the bike only done 6000 on it but intend to do more. As you can work out i'm not yound and have grown taller than some of my hair but young at heart. Live in WA so 3 hours time difference to the East but never worried about that anyway because i love where i live.
Hey Sid and Bully, welcome to the forum, good to some WA lads on here, I spent a fair amount of time in WA either in Perth or up north as my Dad worked in the mines in the 70's. I still have family over there, so we tend to get over there fairly often. Feel free to post some pics of your bikes, we are have some pretty relaxed members on here and its a good place to hang out and talk bikes. Cheers Chris
Hey Sid and Bully Welcome to the Forum, lately we are getting many new members from W.A. Have very found memories of the West and have family living there. I always ask new members to post some photo's of there bikes if possible. Anyhow, welcome on board and as always, enjoy the ride. Phil
