    Hey Saxon
Firstly, welcome to the forum, great to have you on board.
Solo journey to Sydney, well done. By the sound of your posting, must have had a blast of a time. Very much look forward to the posting next year in cycle torque.Suzuki, you can't really go wrong. Now what we would like is some photo's of your bike.
    As always, enjoy the ride.

    Hey Peter
1st up welcome to the Forum. Think everyone has either wanted one or owned one at some stage. They were a formidable bike in their day and still turn heads today.
Never owned but did ride a couple many moons ago.
Look forward to some pictures of your bike, again  welcome

Currently have a CBR250r 1989 project for the wife that mrkiffsta has sourced some parts for me.

    Anyway ride safe.

    Hello 2fifters!
New here. I have a master plan ... Ride old 250's and keep more $$$ for :occasion14:

To tell the truth, I'm sick of paying fines, petrol, rego, CTP & insurance for litre bikes that are fun on the track (but on the roads I actually prefer the smaller bikes). Plus a wonderful GFC ::) made sure that the company I used to work for could no longer support itself. Nuff said ... I'm cashless ...

So now I'm retraining (read uni student) and have commandeered a couple of Suzuki GSX250F's (which I hope to get at least one reliable machine out of) and I still have a 28 year old VT250F which the registration lapsed many years ago.

The idea is to have cheap transport to uni and the VT is just too big a project at the moment. Also, the Across has a nice luggage compartment that means I don't have to carry a helmet around campus all day, so I acquisitioned one.
Needless to say, the cheap 18 year old bike was in need of attention.
Sourced another Across for parts and that's where I'm at now.

The Across is a nice commuter and I still like the VT so I'll keep them both.
When the $$$ starts to flow again, I think I'll fix them both up and keep them as street bikes. To avoid unwanted conversations with sir :police:, any future track bikes will remain track bikes.

    Hey Plugger
Your philosophy on 250cc bikes = saving$$$$= more for BEER I like. Must confess I hadn't looked at it that way before. As for your choice of bikes, the Across is always a winner. You will find yourself in good company as we have many Across owners on the forum. Anyhow, welcome to the forum and don't forget a photo of the bike.
