I was helping a customer track down wheels for a 78 model and I asked if he had anything for sale , he was like yep I have an 81 that I won’t get to anytime
damn thats a good find, so jelly. grats
to get the hp of the dual shock you need to change to the earlier advance plate.
Finally picked the cbx up , loads of boxes came with it , I am not going to restore it , just tidy it up and get it on the road
those pipes have to go
Cool! Is that rear disc slightly worn or am I seeing things? Maybe it was once owned by one of those 'you can't use the front brake or you will crash' people.
Looks that way doesn’t it , to be honest I unloaded it , snapped some pics and put it away , will have a better look tomorrow
very jealous of that cbx, that sweet sounding 6, hmmmmmm loins fizzling.
@kiffsta If you need to overhaul the carbs on the CBX
@kiffsta if you just wanna sell me the cbx , that works too
Gee mister, I just got it
Its cheaper for me then
Some news on the cbx , she is a runner and sounds quite good. She was missing the 3 ignitors and the previous owner couldn’t find them, I had a hunt around the shop and found 4 of them attached to some old cb900 battery boxes , we hooked them up saw some spark. We refitted they carbs and filled them with some fresh fuel and whammo, she started up
Thats so awesome. When can i expect delivery ????
