    Sigh. Cleverly managed to run over my own bike:headbang::headbang:
    After a week and a half of being very sick, today I finally felt well enough to go for a ride this morning. Got home and thought I'd had so much fun I'd leave the bike out instead of putting it back in the shed, just in case I wanted to ride again this afternoon.
    Went shopping to buy the stuff for a family barbeque tonight. When I came home, I reversed the ute up the (steep-ish) driveway into the carport. Since the driveway is a hill I couldn't see into the carport.
    Cue nasty crunching sound just as I'm about finished reversing.
    Got out and was greeted with a visual reminder that I hadn't put the bike away. Poor little CBR lying on it's side, looking very sad.
    "Well, that's unfortunate." I say. (Insert multiple swearwords here.)
    Damage was light, thank God - one busted front indicator, one snapped mirror, scratch on clutch lever, couple of light scratches elsewhere. Silver lining - I still had the fairings off from when I'd tightened the header bolts, so at least they are intact.
    Could have been worse but I still feel like an idiot and I'm still swearing.....
    Maybe I'm not back to complete health yet....
    :headbang::mad:

    I know that sad, breaking sound from when I highsided a bike just out front of my driveway. While rolling bodily down the bitumen, I could crunching and breaking noises as I think to myself "but I just fixed it.."

    Good point, @ruckusman .
    My wife's first reaction was "Is the ute all right?" :)

    What'd I do?! I made this bastard run! My fears of bending things seem to have been baseless. Took it around the block- still doesn't hit redline, but it does scoot! It's about 2* C right now but the snow has mostly melted so I said screw it and went for a ride!! First ride that I didn't end up pushing it! I'd upload a photo- but I'm on my phone and the pics too big. Boo!

    I am stealing this. I <3 it a lot.

    No way- talk to me next month. Right now- let it snow. We're supposed to get more a couple days this week. It was cold enough last week my cars froze shut. I don't need THAT again... but I'm cool with winter for once. :)
